My basketball career started late, but at 15 years old I was determined to reach my dream of being a college basketball player. It was important to me to attain the goals I set for myself and that’s what l eventually was able to do. I came back to Australia in 2020 and found the same love I had playing in coaching, giving back to the youth what I learned on my journey.
Coaches heavily influence the way a player looks at the game and how they interact with it, so here at Harbour City we focus on the WHY’s. The “whys” give players a reason to do something. Our goal is to instil confidence, challenge them and provide all the whys to make players the best they can be. Over the years of playing, I learned a lot of things. Things I liked and that worked and the opposite. This has shaped my coaching style and is primed to suit the modern athlete.
